Proximity area detection
The DualCurtain detector has a unique protected area extension technology. When proximity detection is enabled, the detector’s top PIR sensor has a very narrow tracking sector facing 40 degrees down from the main sector. This feature allows both sensors to detect movement when a person crosses a protected perimeter close to the detector, avoiding the blind spot that is a typical problem with such detectors. The proximity detection function is for safety windows and other passages that are inaccessible to animals. Proximity detection mode is a patented Ajax Systems technology.

Two independent detectors
The detection range of each of the optical systems is adjustable. This allows you to accurately determine the perimeter protected by the detector and avoid false alarms caused by a bush swaying in the wind or people walking on a public sidewalk. The optical systems shall be adjusted so that the field of view of the detector is not obstructed by a pole or downpipe.

You can set the sensitivity in the app or from one of the optical systems.
The distance of each optical system is determined within 15 meters.

Resistance to attacks
The DualCurtain Detector must not go unnoticed or deactivated, even if the Ajax security system is disabled.
The detector's optical systems are enhanced with advanced masking sensors that respond to obstructions, obstructions, or lens staining, and the tamper prevents the device from being removed from the holder unobtrusively. 

Exclusive autonomy
Due to its low power consumption, this curtain detector runs on a set of batteries for years. Battery life is 4 years. The monitoring station and users will be notified in advance of the need for device maintenance. The Ajax gadget shows the battery charge level.

Easy to connect and configure
To connect a detector to the system, all you have to do is scan the QR code with the Ajax app, assign it a name and a room. Configure the gadget in real time while testing detection zones and connectivity. If necessary, the detector can be switched off or reconfigured remotely by controlling its system parameters.
